Who we are, and why we created Elevated Cannabis
Our Story
Cannabis was legalized in Canada in October of 2018. For anyone who consumed cannabis prior to this date, the act was considered illegal and could carry penalties that could negatively impact you for the rest of your life. Prior to legalization and even today cannabis consumption is considered taboo.
During its prohibition, cannabis use in public was relegated to alley ways, parking lots and other hidden places. Cannabis consumption was the secret that everyone knew.
Along the way to legalization, there were the active protesters, but behind the scenes, in corporation and small businesses alike there were advocates who could not openly protest but represented a large portion of cannabis consumers. They represented, regular contributing members of society, your bosses, your coworkers, your friends.
With that spirit, Elevated Cannabis was born to represent that hidden demographic, who still quietly behind the scenes are the true cannabis consumers.
Our goal is to elevate the perception of cannabis and its many uses.

After over 20 years in technology within the banking and retail industries, I reached a point where my experience and knowledge were so acute that I felt the need to explore. Cannabis has always been a part of my life and with legalization, the perfect storm was born. Preparation meet opportunity.
I have smoked cannabis in many countries, Jamaica [the best], US, Morocco, Trinidad and finding a safe cannabis supply has always been a challenge. Elevated Cannabis is properly positioned to address this challenge with its well stocked, cool, laid-back non pretentious store vibe. Elevated Cannabis is a labour of love, it represents my interpretation of the safe cannabis store that I would want to frequent.
